Yahaya Bello declared Winner of Kogi Election

INEC Returning officer for the election for Kogi Governorship election declared Yahaya Bello winner this morning.
Yahaya bello replaced Abubakar Audu of the APC who died of heart attack during Kogi Election.



The election was declared inconclusive by INEC on November when Audu who has already pulled a lead with 240,861 votes  against Gov. Idris Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 199,514 votes.

The supplementary for 91 polling units in 19 local government areas on Saturday saw Bello polling in an additional 6885 to Wada’s 5363. Final score: APC 247,742, PDP 204,877.
