At $62.5 billion, Uber 's New Valuation is Bigger Than The Economy of Kenya

Uber the Taxi hailing service that currently operate in Nigeria and over 65 Countries across the Globe is raising $2 billion with a new valuation of $62.5 billion.

With this valuation, Uber is now higher than the GDP of 120 Countries, out of the 194 Countries rated by the World Bank.

This means Kenya, one of Africa's biggest economy would be rated behind Uber at 74, That's if the App was a Country.

In a Bloomberg report the $62.5 billion valuation, is  the latest rumored valuation for the Taxi Hailing app.

With this valuation,  Uber is currently the highest-valued private startup of all time, a record Facebook managed to break at $50 billion valuation.

The Company's Revenue last year was about $400 million.
