Russia And Dopes Athletes

Russia actively give performance enhancing drugs to its athletes who compete at international tournaments.

The head of the World Anti-Doping Agency, WADA, came out with the declaration Monday.
The Investigation which was headed by the agency's former director, Dick Pound revealed "deep rooted culture of cheating at all levels."

Russian officials in an effort to thwart the investigations, destroyed samples and closed its own anti-doping Laboratory.

"1,400 samples were intentionally and maliciously "destroyed by Moscow.
This implies that even at the London Olympics, in 2012, where Russia won 24 Gold medals,"in a sense sabotaged by Russia".

That means the athletes should not have participated in the first place.

People are suggesting a ban of 5 years for all Russian athletes.

This would mean that Russia will not be at Rio, Brazil, next summer.

In a sharp retort, head of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency,RUSADA, Nikita Kamaev said the accusations are" unprofessional, illogical and declaration".

WADA is asking it to open the labs for more investigations.
