OshIomole :Mark Of Zoro

"He took government Land and gave it to his father when he was governor" Laments Adams OshIomole as he defends his decision to "recover 200,000 hectares of land and gave it back to the government"

"He is a sinking man" replied former governor Lucky Igbenedion.

Two governors hiring protesters to rally their positions.

Oshiomole said his land use act was meant to take from the rich and give to the poor. Noble intention but too starry-eyed given the timing.
He leaves in about 6 months time.
Some say his Robin Hood role is an insurance policy against prosecution when he leaves office.

The Airport Road that he fixed is, according to the governor, used by the rich. So he has to tax them.

What Informed this sudden brainwave is not clear. Oshiomole is not a poor man and he has not declared how much of his own wealth he returned to the poor.

Mr Igbenedion is far from a saint just as the governor. The tableau in BenIn city shows how very little refinement both men have.

Governors in Nigeria suffer from Mardi gras syndrome, that is to misbehave because they feel protected.
By money. To ensure this, they  hand pick members of the State House of Assembly. Thus they are not able to check the governors.

That nobody comes to cheer as the liberating governor comes charging shows that his act rings hollow.

He does not come with the loot as the actors in the movies do.

Oshiomole takes from the rich and gives the poor speeches.
