Nigeria Wins U17 World Cup For The Fifth Time

Nigeria Golden Eaglet this morning beat Mali to win the U17 World for the fifth time.
The team who beat Mexico to set up a final with Mali were outstanding in their play.

The Eaglet beat Mali 2-0 to claim the cup in Chile. 

The team won the maiden edition of FIFA U-17 World Cup in 1985 at China. Since then they have won championship for a record four more times in 1993, 2007 and 2013.

Victor Osimhen was presented the Golden Boot with the Championship new record of 10 goals.

Belgium beat Mexico 3-2 in the third place match.
