Dasuki Sues Nigeria Government

Colonel Sambo Mohammed Dasuki, Nigeria Former National Security Adviser, has sued the Nigeria Government, at the Federal High Court, Abuja,  seeking enforcement of his fundamental human rights to dignity and security of his life

Dasuki is asking the court for a mandatory order compelling the Federal Government and its agents especially, operatives of the Directorate of the State Security Service (DSSS) to vacate his house located at 13, John Kadija Street, Asokoro with immediate effect.

The federal High Court Abuja, on November 03, 2015, asked the Federal Government and the Department of State Security Services, DSS to release the passport of former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki.

Col. Sambo Dasuki, was appointed as former President Goodluck Jonathan's National Security Adviser (NSA)  as a replacement for General Owoye Azazi’s, following a sudden reshuffle of the country’s top security hierarchy, which came in the wake of violent attacks and bombings by the Boko Haram insurgents.

No date has been fixed for hearing.
