Akpabio And EFCC. How Not To Fight Corruption

The former governor of Akwa Ibom state governor,Senator Goodwill was on the evening of Friday arrested on charges of corruption.

This Media does not support graft of any sort. However, the way the war on corruption is been waged.

To say the trend is convoluted and shouts too loudly of victimisation.
Most of the prospective ministers have corruption charges against them.
Osun state governor, Mr Rauf Aregbeshola is free even as he put government allocations for his personal use. He is yet to pay salaries dating back to more than half a year.

El Rufai's role in The BPE and FCT minister have inconclusive investigations.

The mode of the EFCC "raids' only achieve one thing: It give a disappointed masses something to read and watch in the mass media.Namely that it take their attentions from things that matter.

Insecurity for example is getting worse. Mr Buhari has truly failed in this respect. He has done nothing about the economy.

What the president needs now is more allies than enemies.
The least of Buhari's worries is money that is gone.

A chunks of this money was spent to elect him hence all APC governors a corrupt but not guilty.

Governments don't go after the rich. It kills business.
In Akpabio's case,EFCC will only enrich some lawyers.

We think it is time to govern.
